The Hub of the Wheel

Our lives are often governed by hectic and oppressive schedules. If we imagine our lives as a wheel, we are running around the wheel from one spoke to the next just trying to keep up. Just like the hamster, sometimes we fail to keep up and the wheel gets the better of us. (a word about our purpose)
The good news is that the church is not another spoke of the wheel! The church cannot compete as a spoke, because the church is the hub of the wheel that keeps us centered!
As a vital faith community, we hope to provide sacred space, community, and resources that allow youth and their families to experience the freedom Christ offers even in the midst of our busy-ness.
We know that parenting teenagers is not easy! We desire to come alongside parents as a partner, assisting parents as they disciple their children. Youth have a diverse range of developmental needs.
Broad Street Youth Ministries focus on these developmental stages of faith:
Middle School
Connecting Head to Heart (Understanding that the Bible is OUR story)
High School
Connecting Heart to Hands (Understanding that we are called to live out our faith)
